William Edwards (1772-1830) was a son of John Edwards and Ann Griffiths, and a grandson of John Edwards and his wife Elizabeth. William married Margaret Perkin in 1797, and they lived in Welshpool and in Berriew, Montgomeryshire, Wales. Descendants and relatives lived in Wales, England, the United States, Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere.
