Atlas of Postmortem Angiography
This atlas of postmortem angiography provides a summary of techniques that have been developed and used in order to visualize the human vascular system. The indications, advantages, limitations, and pitfalls of the different techniques are explained in detail through the use of examples from real cases and a wealth of informative images, as well as knowledge from the latest scientific works. Helpful recommendations are made concerning interpretation of the obtained radiological images, which will allow readers to start their own work in the field of post-mortem angiography or to ease and improve their practice. The atlas has been edited and written by members of an international working group created in 2012, “Technical Working Group Post-mortem Angiography Methods” (TWGPAM), who for the first time summarize their experiences concerning this new approach. Since findings explaining the reasons for both natural and traumatic death are often hidden within the vascular system, post-mortem angiography is of the highest importance in elucidating cause of death and may represent the key to minimally invasive autopsy.

Analogies and differences between forensic and clinical imaging are highlighted, and it is explained what lessons forensic imaging holds for clinical radiology, and vice versa. The remainder of the book comprehensively documents the typical “normal” post-mortem findings and the imaging presentations in various forms of trauma and nontraumatic forensic cases, including those in which medical liability may be an issue. The authors are radiologists and forensic radiologists from across the world who have extensive experience in post-mortem imaging. The book is primarily intended for forensic pathologists, radiologists, and radiographers seeking practical information on forensic imaging, but it will also be of interest to others, such as lawyers, who encounter this specialty during their professional activities.

Mathematics for Human Flourishing in the Time of COVID-19 and Post COVID-19
The International Chair in Mathematical Physics and Applications (ICMPA - UNESCO chair), University of Abomey-Calavi, Benin, and the Center for Applied Mathematics of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Niš, CAM-FMEN, organized a webinar on Mathematics for human flourishing in the time of COVID-19 and post COVID-19, 21 October 2020, supported by the City of Niš. The objectives of the webinar were to give precise information about the work that scientists do to cure the disease, to push forward technology, to understand our society and create new expressions of humanity, and to question the role of mathematics in the responses to this pandemic.
Kreativität vs. Urheberrecht im digitalen Bereich
Die Arbeit geht der Fragestellung nach, inwiefern verschiedene Selbstregulierungsansätze wie Freie Lizenzen (z. B. Creative Commons oder Open Source Software), geduldete Werknutzung und Vereinbarungen zwischen Plattformanbietern und Rechtsinhabern (Stichwort: „Upload-Filter“) bei der (kreativen) Nutzung und Verbreitung digital verfügbarer, urheberrechtlich geschützter Werke zur Lösung einer durch den Verfasser festgestellten, wachsenden Divergenz zwischen der von Nutzern, Urhebern und Verwertern gelebten Realität, den gesetzlichen Regelungen und den urheberrechtlichen Rechtfertigungsnarrativen beitragen können. Die Beantwortung dieser Frage erfolgt durch eine weitaus stärkere Einbeziehung der Erkenntnisse anderer Disziplinen wie (Verhaltens-)Ökonomie, Psychologie und Kreativitätsforschung als in juristischen Arbeiten sonst üblich. Dies erlaubt es, ein Rechtsgebiet nicht nur aus juristisch-dogmatischer Sichtweise zu betrachten, sondern auch die tatsächlichen Ausübungsbedingungen und Auswirkungen des Rechts genauer in den Blick zu nehmen und zum Teil einer juristisch fundierten Gesamtanalyse zu machen.
