Wine By Design

From its eighteenth-century beginnings, the Santa Barbara wine industry achieved success by embracing a “wine by design” model. In this process farmers, winemakers, and entrepreneurs overcome roadblocks like diseases, government policies and regulations, and environmental concerns by utilizing the latest technological advances coupled with agribusiness capitalism. The 2013 Exploratory Airport Study (EAS), conducted by the California State University San Marcos MBA Cohort Class of 2014, concluded that San Diego International Airport will be incapable of handling the region's air travel needs beyond 2035. SAN currently offers few options for international travel due to its short runway. The study evaluated three potential locations for a new airport within San Diego County. It concluded that the only feasible location for a new international airport within the county would be located on or near the southern edge of Camp Pendleton in Oceanside. The 2014 Exploratory Airport Study (EAS), conducted by the California State University San Marcos MBA Cohort Cl...
