International Issues in SEND and Inclusion brings together a collection of cutting-edge researches on approaches to special education needs and disability education, across 6 continents and within 12 countries. Written by authors who are experts in their own countries in relation to special educational needs and disability, the book provides a unique knowledge and understanding of different international perspectives in special educational needs, disability and inclusion. United Nations Decade of Family Farming 2019–2028, Regional Action Plan to Implement the UNDFF and Achieve the SDGs in South Asia
This book is an output of a regional experts’ consultation meeting on “UN Decade of Family Farming: Formulating Strategies and Action Plan to Strengthen Smallholder Family Farmers in South Asia”, 5-6 November 2020 organized by SAARC Agriculture Center (SAC), Bangladesh in collaboration with Asian Farmers’ Association (AFA), Philippines, and the International Cooperative Alliance Asia and Pacific (ICA-AP), India, and the technical assistance of the Food and Agriculture Organization Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (FAO RAP) Thailand. This book is the concrete result of active engagement and participations of SAARC Member States’ National Focal Point Experts, invited UNDFF experts, authors, and participants. This book focuses on- family farming’s constraints, challenges, opportunities, and government policies to contribute on attaining the targets of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at country and South Asia regional levels.

Cidade Pós-compacta - Post-compact city
Cidade pós-compacta apresenta a hipótese de que um outro olhar sobre o urbanismo moderno pode nos fornecer pistas para lidar com os desafios do fenômeno urbano contemporâneo. Defendemos ser urgente um projeto que busque uma alternativa, por um lado, à receita de tornar compacto o nãocompacto e, por outro, à simples inclusão da condição de não-lugar, não-cidade e não-edificado numa nova epistemologia ampliada do urbanismo. Post-compact city presents the hypothesis that another view on modern urbanism may provide us with clues for dealing with the challenges of the contemporary urban phenomenon. We argue that there is an urgent need for a design strategy that provides an alternative for, on the one hand, a recipe in order to make the non-compact compact and, on the other, the simple inclusion of the condition of non-place, non-city and unbuilt in a new expanded epistemology of urbanism.
