The Legend of the Moonstone
In an age long past... on a planet unknown to mankind a SACRED STONE was created. Nations have been built around it until an audacious ignorant man broke the stone into three pieces and a terrible curse has been unleashed. The legends says who ever unite the stone again would be given control over it's power. The Legend of the Moonstone, a vibrant fiction-adventure, tells the legend of the Moonstone, a powerful stone which is part of the ancient Sacred Stone. Professor Stransky is adventurer and dreamer who sets off on an epic quest through magical, mythical and wondrous worlds in order to rescue the Moonstone and defend our planet. In this adventure he and his crew of two very special and extraordinary students are about to fight for their own lives and for the lives of all of humanity against the Upper Souls (evil and destructive creatures, who wanted to become immortal and conquer the universe).
Scientific, Technical and Economic Committee for Fisheries (STECF)
The STECF EWG-14-17 met at the Thünen Institute in Hamburg, Germany, from 20-24 October 2014, addressing 1) short-term revision of the Annual Reports guidelines and standard tables (based on EWG 14-07 and work prepared by an ad-hoc expert) and 2) long-term preparations for National Work Plans and Annual Reports. The underlying aim of both Terms of Reference was simplification compared to the current DCF guidelines and templates and improved use of the information contained in MS Work Plans and Annual Reports by data end-users. The report of EWG-14-17 was reviewed by the STECF during its November 2014 plenary meeting.

This report deals with the evaluation of DCF Work Plan updates for 2022-2024(2027), the evaluation of Data Transmission issues, the finalisation of the Annual Report assessment grid and guidance and the DCF platform concept. The report was reviewed by the STECF at its 71st plenary meeting held in Brussels, Belgium, from 14-18 November 2022.

Working Group on the Governance of Quality Management of Data and Advice (WGQUALITY)
The Working Group on the Governance of Quality Management of Data and Advice (WGQuality) supports the ICES aim of creating an end-to-end quality assurance framework for advice production - from data management, data integration, data analysis, and data use, to the process of translating that data into ICES advice. In this report, WGQuality analyse existing ICES quality management processes within advice production in the context of an international quality standard (ISO 9001:2015). A draft of a quality manual that follows this standard is presented. Where it was found that a requirement of the standard could not be currently fulfilled, it is identified as a gap, and proposed procedures to fill these gaps are presented. Data quality tools proposed by the ICES Planning Group on Data Needs for Assessment and Advice (PGDATA) are also evaluated and, where possible, progressed towards an operational state. The next steps required to implement a quality management system are proposed.
