El origen de este trabajo se remonta a las propias experiencias como educadores y a las conversaciones con colegas que han enfrentado situaciones de acoso laboral. Estas experiencias personales, sumadas a la falta de estudios exhaustivos sobre el tema en el contexto específico de Sinaloa, México, motivaron la realización de esta investigación. El objetivo principal fue comprender la magnitud del mobbing, identificar sus principales causas y consecuencias, y proponer estrategias efectivas para su prevención y manejo. A lo largo de este estudio, se utilizaron metodologías cuantitativas y cualitativas para obtener una visión integral del problema. Se diseñó un cuestionario estructurado de 28 reactivos, abarcando cinco dimensiones de estudio, para ser aplicado a una muestra representativa de docentes en las localidades de Culiacán, Mazatlán, Los Mochis y Guamúchil, en México.
