A obra Vozes do Pluriverso constitui um experimento coletivo de imaginação-intelectual que reúne sentipensamentos, corazonamentos e sentidos expandidos do que a academia tem chamado decolonialidade. Sua principal contribuição é pensar-refletir sobre práticas educativas decoloniais e antirracistas desde a experiência e em diálogo com vozes, sujeitos e epistêmes frequentemente desperdiçadas nas engrenagens de poder/ser/saber do eurocentrismo. O pluriverso, que dá nome à obra, é consubstanciado na pluralidade de temas, estilos de escrita e loci enunciação das/os autoras/es, posicionados em diversos territórios de aprendizagem: universidade, escola, comunidades quilombolas, retireiras, ribeirinhas, extrativistas e de terreiro. A partir de referenciais acadêmicos, afrodiaspóricos e indígenas, essas intelectualidades formulam sentidos de educar/conhecer/saber enquanto experiências essencialmente colaborativas e, ao mesmo tempo, corpóreas, afetivas, espirituais, estéticas e cognitivas.

Curated stories from over 75 interviews and informal exchanges offers insight into the field and point out limitations due to discrimination and unequal opportunity for performance artists over the past 55 years. They also reflect on how artists are educated and supported, what content is deemed valuable and how it is brought to bear, as well as which audiences are welcome and whether cross-community exchange is encouraged. Urban Latin America
Latin America is one of the most urbanized regions of the world. To understand Latin America today it is important to trace the origins and characteristics of the urban-rural divide, inequalities within urban areas, and the prospects for change. This is particularly important and timely given the challenges of widening environmental and social disparities, climate change, and climate justice. The authors critically analyze urban issues within the context of the national and regional political economy, neoliberal governance, and urban social movements. Latin America’s cities are sharply divided into wealthy enclaves and large peripheral areas, reflecting deep social and economic inequalities, leading to notable movements and reforms. The Talk Therapy Revolution: Neuroscience, Phenomenology and Mental Health, uses phenomenology and neuroscience to describe experiential counseling themes such as intuition, attunement, emotional regulation, insight, empathy, momentum and others. Peter Ladd explores these experiential counseling practices in direct comparison with a medical model of talk therapy and examines the pros and cons of both models. Ladd presents an orderly and efficient integration of these two models that accounts for the reciprocal relationship between human experience and neuroscience in which interpersonal relationships have a direct impact on the brain and the brain has a direct impact on human experience.
