The Epilogue
Ola Rotini, the great Nigerian playwright, died in 2000. He was reworking two of his plays:îMan Talk, Women Talkî and ìTororo, Tororo, Roroî. They are now published posthumously, and represent an epilogue to his career as a theatre artist and comic playwright. In the first play, Rotimi seeks, with wry humour, resolution of the biases men and women hold against one another; and in the second, the lessons of sharing other peopleís problems are illuminated with comic effect. Effiok B. Unwatt is an Associate Professor of Literature, and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Abuja. He is a former Head of the Department of English and Literary Studies.

Playwriting and Directing in Nigeria
A compendium of interviews with the late Ola Rotimi, who is perhaps Nigeria's foremost dramatist of the twentieth century. This edition brings together interviews which Rotimi has given over the past thirty years, some of which were published in occasional journals, and some of which have never previously been published. The interviewers are for the most part leading scholars in the fields of African literature and the dramatic arts: Bernth Lindfors, Onuora Ossie Enekwe, Margaret Floarin, Eldred Titus Green and Bassey Uwatt. The interviews present Rotimi's views on a range of subjects. As a whole, the collection reflects the development in his work and thought over time, and in light of the changing social and political and cultural context. Performing Global Networks
Networks are everywhere: from migrant organisations to information technology, from business to social movements, from international governance to global non-governmental organisations, from theatrical collectives to fan clubs, from memory sites to narrative circles. The portmanteau terms networks, and more specifically, global networks, seem to have become the mots du jour in contemporary cultural and social studies. But what cultural, social and political work do global networks accomplish: what is the work of these networks? This path-breaking collection follows Graeme Thompson’s rallying cry for a clearer analytical approach to the ways in which networks are ‘enacted, assembled, conducted, and performed.’ In its thirteen chapters, scholars from a variety of fields – sociology, theatre and performance studies, peace studies, history, and musicology – as well as social and cultural activists, explore the multiple meanings of global networks and performance.
