Ao lado de outras 12 siderúrgicas, a Vale transforma o minério de ferro em ferro-gusa. O ferro compreende o produto imediato da redução direta do minério de ferro cuja fabricação ocorre no momento em que o minério de ferro é introduzido no alto-forno e passa por diversas transformações químicas e metalúrgicas até chegar ao estado líquido.

The Lizard
