Manuscritos bibliográficos en la red de bibliotecas universitarias españolas (REBIUN)
Este catálogo da noticia de quinientos cincuenta manuscritos de interés bibliográfico conservados en 10 bibliotecas universitarias españolas y centros del CSIC. Fuente imprescindible para la investigación en la formación de las colecciones universitarias, así como en las diferentes situaciones, algunas trágicas, que les han afectado, son estos manuscritos en su mayoría índices, inventarios, listas de lotes fundacionales, donaciones, legados o compras, e inventarios de bibliotecas particulares, que permiten estudiar y profundizar en la historia de las bibliotecas. Desde el Grupo de Patrimonio de REBIUN invitamos a bibliógrafos, investigadores y estudiantes a utilizar este recurso con la convicción de que servirá de estímulo para desvelar, en futuro quizás no muy lejano, fuentes documentales y bibliográficas inéditas, que permitan escribir nuevas páginas de la historia de las bibliotecas españolas.
Del texto al hipertexto
En noviembre de 2002 el Vicerrector de Cooperación Cultural de la Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha y la Biblioteca Universitaria organizaron un curso titulado ’Bibliotecas universitarias’, en el que se pretendía reflexionar sobre el presente y el futuro de las bibliotecas universitarias ante el reto de la digitalización. En un momento de cambio de soportes y de cambio del concepto y funciones de las bibliotecas universitarias, se hace preciso esta reflexión para afrontar el futuro bibliotecario sin rupturas y sin miedos, y con mucha ilusión. Para llevar a cabo esta reflexión se contó con un completo elenco de especialistas, procedentes unos del campo de las bibliotecas, y otros del ámbito de la investigación, usuarios de lujo de los centros de información y documentación. Las experiencias de unos y otros son las que se exponen en esta obra, que se compone de ocho artículos de la más rigurosa actualidad.

The Library Dividend
These Library Dividend reports, archived from the Public Libraries Connect website, form a major independent study of the socio-economic contribution of Queensland's public libraries.
