The Ludlows of Bucks and Oxon
In the late 1600s the parish registers for Kingsey in Buckinghamshire recorded the birth of Francis Ludlow son of Edward and Elizabeth. It is not clear where Edward and Elizabeth married, nor indeed where they lived prior to the birth of their son. This book contains the story of them, their children and their descendants who bore the Ludlow surname from 1699 to the present day.

Sir Harry Gibbs
This biography concerns one of Queensland's and Australia's most distinguished lawyers and jurists, Sir Harry Gibbs. Born in Ipswich in 1917, he studied law at the University of Queensland before going onto a legal career of great accomplishment, culminating in his taking the top position in the Australian judicial system. He was Chief Justice of the Australian High Court from 1981-1987.
Soldier's Story
Kuwasi Balagoon was a participant in the Black Liberation struggle from the 1960s until his death in prison in 1986. A member of the Black Panther Party and defendant in the infamous Panther 21 case, Balagoon went underground with the Black Liberation Army (BLA). Captured and convicted of various crimes against the State, he spent much of the 1970s in prison, escaping twice. After each escape, he went underground and resumed BLA activity. Balagoon was unusual for his time in several ways. He combined anarchism with Black nationalism, he broke the rules of sexual and political conformity that surrounded him, he took up arms against the white-supremacist state—all the while never shying away...
