Entre Actuar y Performar: Perspectivas desde el cuerpo en el teatro chileno post dictadura
La publicación observa las prácticas escénicas en el punto umbral de inicios de la transición de la democracia, revisitando momentos escénicos que han impactado en el quehacer artístico hasta el día de hoy. Los acontecimientos de aquel periodo, influenciaron el entendimiento y práctica de un tipo de actuación específica que posibilita el teatro de hoy en Chile. La dictadura pone al cuerpo en un primer lugar de ejecución, representación y resistencia. Mientras cuerpos literalmente desaparecen, la actuación y la performance los hace aparecer en escena más insistentemente. Varios artistas que vivieron esa época, se encuentran aún vigentes en su quehacer teatral y son fundamentales para entender la práctica actoral nacional de hoy.
El Género en Escena
El estudio explora la realidad laboral de actrices y actores afiliados a SIDARTE desde la perspectiva de género, con el objetivo de diagnosticar y caracterizar expresiones de inequidad y formas de discriminación dentro del sector teatral. A través de encuestas y entrevistas en profundidad, se analizan aspectos como la trayectoria y proyecciones laborales, la compatibilidad entre la labor teatral y la maternidad/paternidad y diferencias en el desempeño de los distintos roles de la cadena productiva teatral, entre otros. Este estudio es financiado por Fondos de Cultura 2016.
Tensiones entre la propiedad intelectual y la propiedad ordinaria
El presente volumen recoge una panorámica completa de la problemática que se plantea entre los derechos de los creadores y los titulares de los soportes a que dichas obras se incorporan. Dicotomía que resulta de la diferenciación entre el corpus mysticum y el corpus mechanicum en la que toda creación se exterioriza. La obra se inicia con la contribución de la profesora Caridad del Carmen Valdés Díaz, de la Universidad de La Habana, en torno a cómo las obras del espíritu se manifiestan a través de su continente y cómo se pueden diversificar las propiedades existentes en los mismos. Yesterday - Tomorrow
An der Entstehung von "Yesterday - Tomorrow" war ein Team von mehr als 50 Mitarbeitern beteiligt, darunter auch 13 renommierte internationale Ägyptologen (Haward University, Université Paris IV-Sorbonne, Brown University, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, usw.). Die jüngste Arbeit des deutsch-amerikanischen Fotokünstlers Marc Erwin Babej nimmt die komplexe Bildsprache des antiken Ägypten auf und aktualisiert sie in fotorealistischen Medien. Dabei adaptiert er die wohl auffälligste Besonderheit ägyptischer Kunst: die gleichzeitige Darstellung des menschlichen Körpers aus verschiedenen Perspektiven wie Frontal- und Seitenansicht. Unter anderem durch diese "aspektivische" Darstellung übersetzt er die auf Zeitlosigkeit angelegte ägyptische Kunst in die Gegenwart. Der Kunststil wird von Babej und dem Team als aspektivischer Realismus bezeichnet. Eine eigene App macht dem Leser des Katalogs zusätzliche Inhalte sichtbar und ermöglicht eine dreidimensionale Augmented Reality Darstellung von diesem einzigartigen Projekt.

The four-volume set LNCS 6946-6949 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 13th IFIP TC13 International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction, INTERACT 2011, held in Lisbon, Portugal, in September 2011. The 47 papers included in the first volume are organized in topical sections on accessibility, affective HCI, computer-mediated communication, computer-supported cooperative work, evaluation, finding and retrieving, fun/aesthetic design, gestures, and HCI in the classroom.
Mobilizing at the Urban Margins
In October 2019, unprecedented mobilizations in Chile took the world by surprise. An outburst of protests plunged a stable democracy into the deepest social and political crisis since its dictatorship in the 1980s. Although the protests involved a myriad of organizations, the organizational capabilities provided by underprivileged urban dwellers proved essential in sustaining collective action in an increasingly repressive environment. Based on a comparative ethnography and over six years of fieldwork, Mobilizing at the Urban Margins uses the case of Chile to study how social mobilization endures in marginalized urban contexts, allowing activists to engage in large-scale democratizing processes. The book investigates why and how some urban communities succumb to exclusion, while others react by resurrecting collective action to challenge unequal regimes of citizenship. Rich and insightful, the book develops the novel analytical framework of 'mobilizational citizenship' to explain this self-produced form of political incorporation in the urban margins.
