A review of the Nordic implementation of the UNFCCC Gender Action Plan
Available online: https://pub.norden.org/nord2024-016/ This policy brief compiles the main findings from the report “A review of the Nordic implementation of the UNFCCC Gender Action Plan” (2024). The review assesses the implementation of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change’s Gender Action Plan (UNFCCC GAP) in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. The UNFCCC GAP aims to advance the implementation of gender-responsive climate actions at all levels, ensuring women's full, meaningful participation in the climate process. Thus, this review assesses both the notable endeavours towards ensuring gender responsive climate policies in the Nordic countries, as well as the challenges encountered. Based on the review, this policy brief presents best practices, gaps and barriers as well as recommendations for further strengthening the implementation fo the UNFCCC GAP in the Nordic countries.

The UNFCCC GAP aims at advancing knowledge and understanding of gender responsive climate action, and includes activities for gender mainstreaming the implementation of the Paris Agreement. The report finds that the Nordic region demonstrates commitment to integrating gender equality perspectives into climate policies, and summarises best case examples on local and national level. It also suggests that by prioritising capacity building of mainstreaming in climate policies, utilising available sex-disaggregated data for gender analysis, and by enhancing coherence in relevant policy frameworks, the Nordic countries can improve their implementation of the UNFCCC GAP and further pave the way for a just transition to a green economy.

Locating Nordic Noir
This book is a comprehensive study of Nordic Noir television drama from the 1990’s until today. The authors introduce the history of contemporary Nordic Noir from the perspective of place, production and location studies. The chapters include readings of well-known television crime dramas such as Beck, The Killing, Trapped and The Bridge as well as a range of other important Nordic Noir cases. Phasing Out the Colonial Status of Greenland, 1945-54
With the Constitution of 1953, the colonial status of Greenland came to an end, and Greenlanders were granted equal rights as citizens within the Danish realm. In 1954 this new arrangement was supported by the UN General Assembly. The decision to change Greenland's status was conditioned both by internal and external circumstances. In the UN context, Danes increasingly felt the strain of being a colonial power, and they feared the possibility of future UN interference in Greenlandic affairs.

GABA is the main inhibitory neurotransmitter in the human central nervous system, and glutamate is the corresponding main excitatory neurotransmitter. A balance between GABA and glutamate is crucial for healthy neurotransmission within the brain, and regional altered concentrations have been linked to certain neurological disorders. Namna står alfabetisk og boka er og register til eksisterande bygdebøker. Personboka vart utvikla og gitt ut i samråd med bygdeboknemndene i kommunene Hareid og Ulstein. Boka vart utgitt i 2001. Utflyttarboka 2007 tek med dei som har flytta frå øya og familien deira. Familien står gruppevis under namnet på utflyttaren. Boka er såleis ikkje ei oppdatering av Personboka 2000. Boka vart utgitt i 2007.
Intraoperative Imaging
Intraoperative imaging technologies have taken an ever-increasing role in the daily practice of neurosurgeons and the increasing attention and interest necessitated international interaction and collaboration. The Intraoperative Imaging Society was formed in 2007.
