Study of water waves (sea or ocean) has generated a great wealth of sophisticated modeling developments in applied mathematics and statistics. Many unknown and complex phenomena of the water waves are extremely challenging and are ongoing research. Statistical methods for the study of wind-wave dynamics have been developed with the collaboration of researchers from IRPHE, Marseille.
