Paavola knew she couldn't have Lazar. They hated each other from almost the first time they met, that's what she kept telling herself. It was never to be her destiny. She knew it, but it didn't make her heart feel any better. But Laz has also been her hero, and Paavola wants him, even though she'll never admit it. Laz wanted Paav, he did from the first time he saw her. Having her was never going to be easy, but he saved himself only for her and he was determined to make her his, fully. Now, he's on a mission to find her and rescue her from an evil man she was forced to wed. What happens when they are forced together to save a loved one from a monster of a man? The sparks will fly. Or they'll kill each other, whichever comes first. This is book three in the Cruel Masters series and can be enjoyed independently. This book responds to calls for further advancing knowledge creation in schools. It examines sixteen Chinese Language teachers from Singapore, since language teachers are primarily responsible for the basic literacy that is the foundation of students’ lifelong learning. Positing that people’s cultural beliefs and the language(s) they use are inseparable, the book argues that Chinese language teachers possess a unique understanding of the various phenomena that reflect the influences of Chinese culture by virtue of the language they speak and teach. For the purposes of the investigation, it employs phenomenography — a methodology aimed at finding and systematising how people interpret the world around them — to determine and describe Chinese language teachers’ conceptions of these phenomena.

In the last decades, the intensive urban development and a widespread legal requirement to undertake archaeological excavation of historical sites has led to a massive increase in the number of post-medieval graveyards and burial places that have been subjected to archaeological investigation. The archaeology of the more recent periods, which are comparatively well documented, is no less inte...
