Esta obra aborda a violência doméstica contra mulheres migrantes, lançando luz às acadêmicas da Universidade Federal da Integração Latino-Americana (UNILA), localizada no município de Foz do Iguaçu. Diante do crescimento desse tipo de violência tanto no Brasil quanto em outras partes do mundo, o objetivo do estudo é entender os obstáculos enfrentados por essas mulheres, que, por serem parte de um grupo ainda mais invisibilizado pelas políticas públicas e pelas redes de apoio, enfrentam dificuldades adicionais. O trabalho concentra-se em casos de violência física, a forma mais comum de agressão no ambiente doméstico, conforme dados do Ministério da Saúde. A questão central é identificar as formas de violência doméstica que mais afetam essas mulheres. Além disso, a pesquisa destaca, entre outras recomendações, a importância de campanhas de conscientização e da implementação de um protocolo único para o atendimento às vítimas.
