This study considers Welsh Jewry as a geographical whole and is the first to draw extensively on oral history sources, giving a voice back to the history of Welsh Jewry, which has long been a formal history of synagogue functionaries and institutions. The author considers the impact of the Second World War on Wales’s Jewish population, as well as the importance of the Welsh context in shaping the Welsh-Jewish experience. The study offers a detailed examination of the numerical decline of Wales’s Jewish communities throughout the twentieth century, and is also the first to consider the situation of Wales’s Jewish communities in the early twenty-first, arguing that these communities may be significantly fewer in number and smaller than in the past but they are ever evolving.
Principles of Movement is a book in the educational series by the Fonteyn Academy Press. It accompanies the Academy Method International Teacher Certificate training program, but is quite helpful to all instructors and students of dance. The Academy Method is taught at The Margot Fonteyn Academy of Ballet. It is based on the fundamental principles of movement as they apply to classical theatrical dancing. Carrying forward the teachings of Margaret Craske, and her students, this is what Dame Margot Fonteyn herself studied so long as she was dancing. This book gives the foundation of the complete system of classical theatrical dance practiced and taught at The Margot Fonteyn Academy of Ballet.
A re-examination of Jewish scripture and teachings about disabilities Few people are untouched by the issue of disability, whether personally or through a friend or relative. The first book-length study of contemporary British Jewry , Turbulent Times: The British Jewish Community Today examines the changing nature of the British Jewish community and its leadership since 1990. Keith Kahn-Harris and Ben Gidley contend that there has been a shift within Jewish communal discourse from a strategy of security, which emphasized Anglo-Jewry's secure British belonging and citizenship, to a strategy of insecurity, which emphasizes the dangers and threats Jews face individually and communally. This shift is part of a process of renewal in the community that has led to something of a 'Jewish renaissance' in Britain. Addressing key questions on the transitions in the history of Anglo-Jewish community and leadership, and tackling the concept of the 'new antisemitism', this important and timely study addresses the question: how has UK Jewry adapted from a shift from monoculturalism to multiculturalism?

The Academy Method was designed by Dame Margot Fonteyn and Ken Ludden over 12 years. The instructor certification program gives them international certification to teach in this method. This book covers the basic principles of the Academy Method. Review: ""Ken Ludden's teaches the fundamentals of ballet and all movement, and is groundbreaking and life changing! He works with the truth of movement...teaches to express through movement. He covers the step and how to execute it, then clearly explains the WHY for each exercise as it relates to center work and choreography. This book lays out how to build a dancer from the moment they enter the studio until they hit the stage as a professional. Try to see Ken's live lectures as well and study with him. He is a Master!"" -Autumn Mathisen
