Fruto do Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas sobre Mulheres e Feminismos – GEMEF, vinculado ao Curso de Psicologia da Faculdade Luciano Feijão – FLF, localizada em Sobral-CE, foi escrito por professoras, graduandas, mães e MULHERES, no entanto é destinado a todos que possuem interesse de conhecer em se juntar a essa aldeia feminista, em prol da igualdade de gênero e enfrentamento a qualquer tipo de preconceito. Todas as pesquisas possuem rigor técnico e ético e foram elaboradas a partir de afetamentos e vivências das integrantes do referido grupo. A leitura possibilita uma mudança de olhar no paradigma do que é ser mulher na atualidade, além de provocar engajamento na luta contra o sexismo, confirmando a afirmativa de que “a mulher pode ser o ela quiser!”

About Trees considers our relationship with language, landscape, perception, and memory in the Anthropocene. The book includes texts and artwork by a stellar line up of contributors including Jorge Luis Borges, Andrea Bowers, Ursula K. Le Guin, Ada Lovelace and dozens of others. Holten was artist in residence at Buro BDP. While working on the book she created an alphabet and used it to make a new typeface called Trees. She also made a series of limited edition offset prints based on her Tree Drawings.
