This record book is a printed pamphlet (with Coit's notes) of charges brought against Benjamin Bosworth Smith (1794-1884) in Lexington, Ky., 1837. Smith was recort of Christ Church in Lexington, 1830-1838, and had been appointed first Bishop of Kentucky in 1832. He was also one of the founders of the Theological Seminary, and later became Senior and Presiding Bishop of the Protestant Episcopal Church, U.S.
