Takatoosan Topi
Kirja kertoo Toivo Peltosen elämästä Suomen Ilmavoimissa ajasta ennen Talvisotaa vuoteen 1953. Hän istui koko sotilasuransa ajan lentokoneiden ' takatoosassa' eli koneen takaosassa olevassa konekivääriampujan tilassa. Talvisodan kylmä kyyti tapahtui syöksypommittaja Fokker C.X:ssä. Jatkosodassa toiminta takatoosassa oli lähinnä tähystystä Topolev SB-2 koneesta takaviistoon ja yhteydenpitoa sähkötyksellä maa-asemaan. Jatkosodan toiminta oli tiedustelua ja laivojen sekä sukellusveneiden tuhoamista Suomenlahdella. Sodan lopulla Toivo joutui upseerikurssin jälkeen hetkeksi pois lentotoiminnasta. Komennus Vienan Karjalaan oli kuitenkin mielenkiintoinen, saihan lentäjä tutustua korpisotaan. Kirjassa on 180 valokuvaa ja 30 hienoa piirrosta.
