La educación para el desarrollo anhela convertirse en una herramienta de transformación social, una oportunidad para el aprendizaje participativo que genere conciencias críticas haciendo a las personas responsables y activas para construir una sociedad más justa. Inspirada por un creciente interés por la educación para el desarrollo, surge una alianza entre una ONGD, un grupo de investigación universitario y un centro educativo. Con esta cooperación se intenta mejorar la práctica de la educación para el desarrollo, facilitando la transferencia del conocimiento. Esperamos que las experiencias que se muestran sirvan para identificar metodologías, temáticas, enfoques e instrumentos, y contribuyan también a visibilizar las luces y sombras, los aciertos y dificultades a los que nos enfrentamos.
I Premio nacional de educación para el desarrollo "Vicente Ferrer"
Este libro recoge las buenas prácticas de los docentes premiados en la primera edición de este premio convocado por la AECID junto con el Ministerio de Educación. Docentes que en el ejercicio de su función educadora han convertido el proceso educativo en un proceso dinámico e interactivo que permite al alumnado desarrollar un conocimiento crítico de nuestro mundo. Profesores y profesoras que han estimulado la participación del alumnado en la construcción de estructuras sociales más justas y solidarias, y han promovido actuaciones basadas en el principio de la corresponsabilidad de todos los actores implicados.

This study examines the interdependence of gender, sexuality and space in the early modern period, which saw the inception of architecture as a discipline and gave rise to the first custodial institutions for women, including convents for reformed prostitutes. Meanwhile, conduct manuals established prescriptive mandates for female use of space, concentrating especially on the liminal spaces of the home. Global Change, Clonal Growth, and Biological Invasions by Plants
There are few more active frontiers in plant science than helping understand and predict the ecological consequences of on-going, global changes in climate, land use and cover, nutrient cycling, and acidity. This collection of research papers and reviews focuses on how these changes are likely to interact with two important factors, clonal growth in plants and the introduction of species into new regions by humans, to reshape the ecology of our world. Clonal growth is vegetative reproduction in which offspring remain attached to the parent at least until establishment. Clonal growth is associated with the invasiveness of introduced species, their tendency to spread after introduction and negatively affect other species. Will changes in climate, land cover, or nutrients further increase biological invasions by introduced, clonal plants? The articles in this book seek to address this question with new research and theory on clonal growth and its interactions with invasiveness and other components of global change.
