Queer NunRedenWir
Das Projekt "QUEER - NunRedenWir" gibt queeren Schriftsteller*innen aus NRW die Möglichkeit, eigene Lebenserfahrungen/Emotionen, die im Zusammenhang mit ihrer Zugehörigkeit zur LGBTQIA+ Community stehen, in Texten auszudrücken. Aus Kurzgeschichten und Gedichten entstand dieser Erzählband, der eine große Bandbreite der queeren Community aus Nordrhein-Westfalen sichtbar und erlesbar macht. Die Anthologie ist mit einem Glossar ausgestattet, in welchem wichtige Begriffe aus der Community erklärt werden. Praxishandbuch Medien an den Rändern
Bibliotheken stehen mit ihren Erwerbungsentscheidungen in einem ethischen Spannungsfeld: Einerseits gilt es die Meinungs- und Informationsfreiheit zu bewahren und mit ihrem Bestand die pluralistische Gesellschaft abzudecken, andererseits nur geprüfte und weltanschaulich vertretbare Inhalte anzubieten. Bibliotheken sollten sich in diesem Spannungsfeld positionieren. Je nach Auftrag, Unterhaltsträger oder Zielgruppe der eigenen Einrichtung kann eine Bibliothek unterschiedliche Antworten für sich finden. Nach einer ethischen Einordnung wird der Umgang mit Medien an den politischen und gesellschaftlichen Rändern in verschiedenen Bibliotheksformen, wie z.B. der Deutschen Nationalbibliothek, aus der Sicht einer sammelnden Bibliothek und von öffentlichen Bibliotheken verschiedener Größe aufgezeigt. Neben dem Bestandsaufbau und Kontextualisierung wird die Kommunikation von bestandspolitischen Entscheidungen thematisiert. Ein Schwerpunkt bildet der Umgang mit dem Kulturkampf von rechts. Praxisbeispiele runden die theoretischen Beiträge ab. Der Band bildet den aktuellen Stand der Diskussion ab und richtet sich an Fachleute, Studierende und Politikwissenschaftler.
