Este pequeno livro possui como objetivo fornecer aos iniciantes no ofício da pesquisa histórica uma introdução a alguns métodos utilizados pelos historiadores na análise de suas fontes. Para tanto, contamos com especialistas que discorrem sobre o uso de métodos específicos e a aplicabilidade destes métodos para fontes específicas, tratando das vantagens e das primícias. Não intencionamos aqui esgotar as várias metodologias hoje utilizadas pelos historiadores, tendo consciência de que se trata de uma tarefa herculana e possivelmente apenas alcançável de modo insatisfatória diante da imensa gama de metodologias e abordagens atualmente postas em prática no fazer historiográfico.

About Trees considers our relationship with language, landscape, perception, and memory in the Anthropocene. The book includes texts and artwork by a stellar line up of contributors including Jorge Luis Borges, Andrea Bowers, Ursula K. Le Guin, Ada Lovelace and dozens of others. Holten was artist in residence at Buro BDP. While working on the book she created an alphabet and used it to make a new typeface called Trees. She also made a series of limited edition offset prints based on her Tree Drawings.
