Empowering Learners for Life in the Digital Age
This book constitutes the refereed post-conference proceedings of the IFIP TC 3 Open Conference on Computers in Education, OCCE 2018, held in Linz, Austria, in June 2018. The 24 revised full papers and 3 short papers included in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 63 submissions during two rounds of reviewing. The papers discuss key emerging topics and evolving practices in the area of educational computing research. Hochschuldidaktik der Informatik HDI 2018
Die 8. Fachtagung für Hochschuldidaktik der Informatik (HDI) fand im September 2018 zusammen mit der Deutschen E-Learning Fachtagung Informatik (DeLFI) unter dem gemeinsamen Motto „Digitalisierungswahnsinn? - Wege der Bildungstransformationen“ in Frankfurt statt. Dabei widmet sich die HDI allen Fragen der informatischen Bildung im Hochschulbereich. Schwerpunkte bildeten in diesem Jahr u. a.: - Analyse der Inhalte und anzustrebenden Kompetenzen in Informatikveranstaltungen - Programmieren lernen &Einstieg in Softwareentwicklung - Spezialthemen: Data Science, Theoretische Informatik und Wissenschaftliches Arbeiten Die Fachtagung widmet sich ausgewählten Fragestellungen dieser Themenkomplexe, die durch Vorträge ausgewiesener Experten und durch eingereichte Beiträge intensiv behandelt werden.
Digitale Prüfungsszenarien in der Hochschule
Wie Prüfungen und Prüfungsszenarien an Hochschulen innovativ und digital gestaltet werden können, steht im Fokus dieses Sammelbandes. Die Beiträge stellen Ergebnisse des Projekts "Prüfung hoch III Drei. Didaktik - Technik - Vernetzung" (gefördert durch den Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft) vor. Im Rahmen des Verbundvorhabens der FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, der RWTH Aachen und des Karlsruher Instituts für Technologie (KIT) wurden Maßnahmen zur Digitalisierung von Prüfungen an Hochschulen in ganz Deutschland unterstützt. Die Beiträge des Bandes stellen unterschiedliche Ansätze, Ideen und Konzepte für digitale Prüfungsszenarien vor und fokussieren dabei jeweils eines der Handlungsfelder Didaktik, Technik oder Vernetzung. Neben der Bestandsaufnahme sowie dem hochschulübergreifenden Erfahrungsaustausch stehen die Entwicklung didaktischer Szenarien, die Erprobung und Entwicklung innovativer Technologien und Ansätze der Vernetzung im Vordergrund. An der Schnittstelle von Forschung zu digitalen Prüfungsszenarien und deren praktischer Umsetzung richtet sich der Band an Lehrende und Mitarbeitende des lehrstützenden Bereichs an Hochschulen.
Einführung in die Informatik
Dieses Buch bietet eine praxisnahe Einführung in grundlegende Themen der Informatik wie Codierung, Rechnerarchitekturen und Betriebssysteme. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf Verständlichkeit und einem roten Faden. Im Laufe des Buches wird über das Konzept der Information und deren Codierung bzw. Verarbeitung die Arbeitsweise des Computers motiviert und darauf aufbauend Hardware, Software und deren Zusammenspiel diskutiert. Dabei wird ebenso auf klassische Computer wie auch auf Quantencomputer eingegangen. Zudem werden die Themen Datenschutz und Datensicherheit beleuchtet, welche an der Schnittstelle zwischen Informatik und dem täglichen Leben angesiedelt sind.
