The Happy Marriage

Everyone wants a happy marriage. But life and relationships can be tough. We make so many mistakes and sometimes we just find ourselves drifting apart. How do we build the marriage we want? A close, intimate, hot and fun marriage. I discovered that if we work on just 3 areas, we can build lasting intimacy into our marriage. And that makes us happy. The Happy Marriage is written like a guidebook to help you build your connection, get on the same page and go in the same direction. You'll find that intimacy is a natural byproduct when you work on these areas. Get closer with date night ideas and questions for yourself and each other. Come together on important topics like money, sex, family and parenting and your dreams and goals for the future. Darren Chapman loves being married to Beck. They’ve been married for 22 years. They have 3 teenage boys and a little girl and live in Newcastle, Australia. He is passionate about happy, healthy marriages that go the distance.

The last comprehensive review of Nottinghamshire's birds was produced more than four decades ago. Much has changed since then, and a new avifauna is long overdue. This book draws together historic reports from the nineteenth century, records from the files of the county bird club (Nottinghamshire Birdwatchers), and data from national and regional surveys and monitoring programmes. The resulting account presents an overview of the present state of the county's birdlife, set against a context of environmental and climatic change. The gravel pits in the Trent and Idle Valleys form major corridors for birds moving across Britain and Nottinghamshire has attracted more than its share of national r...

Stewart Riddell stood in front of his five best friends with a proposition. Steal a priceless work of art by Claude Monet from one of London's most secure buildings. The National Gallery, on the North side of Trafalgar Square is a masterpiece of Victorian architecture and protective engineering. Almost all of the viewing galleries are positioned one and half stories above ground level, surrounded by walls that are five feet thick and made of solid sandstone, with no windows. CCTV monitors every room as well as infrared motion sensors. Each painting is individually alarmed with an independent backup. Cut the power to any alarm or move the painting more than an inch from the wall and the alarms activate trapping any would be thief behind magnetically sealed six inch thick solid steel doors, effectively bringing about his or her early imprisonment. A mystery American businessman is willing to pay $30million + expenses to acquire the work. The only question is how do they get it out?

When Jarra Brown hears church bells he cannot fail to be reminded of the hundreds – 345 to be precise – of service personnel who passed through the beautiful rural Wiltshire countryside into Oxfordshire. These men and women were not hiking across its green pastures or sitting on top of the number 55 bus, instead they were lifeless, resting inside a coffin draped with the Union flag. By the end of August 2011 the bells of St Bartholomew's Church in Wootton Bassett had tolled more times than the residents of this once peaceful town cared to think about, for each chime represented the moment the police convoy accompanying the hearse from RAF Lyneham entered the High Street. A moment frozen ...

November 2015. As police and the national press investigated the 'missing millions' loaned by local government - for an unfinished stand - and the borough council understandably demanded their money back, things were looking bleak at Northampton Town Football Club. With staff unpaid and fans demanding answers in vain, HMRC's winding-up order threatened to send the club into administration or even oblivion. Against a backdrop more fitting for a soap opera, there emerged a unique, almost surreal story of solidarity and success. Five months later - shattering a host of club records in the process - the Cobblers were champions before any other League club had even sealed promotion. The Year of the Cobbler reflects upon life as a lower division football fan and, more specifically, a season which both nightmares and sweet dreams are made of... 'Forget Leicester - Northampton Town are English football's story of the season.' (The Sun)

This book celebrates 75 years of Air Force cadet activity in Australia, 1941-2016. The organisation has had a tremendous impact upon the lives of tens-of-thousands of Australians over our 75 year history. Since 1982 it has enhanced the lives of young women as well as men. The book begins in WWII with the need to pre-train capable and committed "keen lads". Over 30,000 Australian boys were air cadets 1941-1945 with almost 13,000 going on to active service in the war. Air Force cadets survived into peacetime to become an aviation focussed youth development organisation, providing flying training in a military atmosphere with the aim of inspiring cadets to join the RAAF. There are currently over 8,000 Air Force cadets and adult staff around Australia. Aviation centred youth development in a RAAF service environment remains our central focus.

Back in ’68 they made killer music…now their music is killing them. It’s been thirty years since Joe Portugal put his electric guitar away. Maybe that’s one reason he’s suffering a serious case of the mid-life doldrums. Then Joe stumbles upon a chance to put the band he was in as a teenager back together. And maybe his life too. All he has to do is find the lead guitarist, who hasn’t been seen since the 70s. But when he starts to look, it’s quickly clear that someone doesn’t want to see a reunion tour...someone who’s very handy with a gun. Praise for the Joe Portugal mysteries: “I love reading Nathan Walpow books…a solid, intelligent mystery…add Walpow’s marvelous sense of humor and you’ll see why he’s winning new fans ever day.” —Jan Burke, Edgar Award-winning author “Snappy Chandleresque dialogue.” —Los Angeles Times “Joe’s wry sense of humor will convert readers into loyal fans.” —Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine “This guy is a hell of a writer.” —Lee Child, author of the Jack Reacher series
