This work focuses on rural community versions of Spanish Early Modern Theatre and deals with cultural heritage and the contemporary impact of Golden Age theatre on local rural communities. To this end, I examine the burgeoning of annual rural Golden Age theatre festivals that generate site-centered, non-professional productions of the plays, and revisit the conflict between tradition and innovation, between popular and high culture between authority of literary heritage and the people's right to the canon. Research on Politeness in the Spanish-Speaking World
One of the main contributions of this important book is that it offers a thorough survey of the theoretical and empirical developments that have occurred in the area of (im)politeness in the different regions of the Spanish-speaking world, gathering together overviews by distinguished scholars. Additionally, the book advances the field with new empirical research on linguistic (im)politeness, and silence and (im)politeness, in a range of (non)institutional contexts, as well as new perspectives for the study of (im)politeness. Use of Hemodialysis for Dabigatran Clearance in a Patient Requiring Urgent Surgery. A Case Report
Background: If a patient on dabigatran treatment needs an urgent surgery, hemodialysis has been shown to be a useful tool to decrease dabigatran plasma levels due to his low plasma protein binding. Assessment of Postoperative Management in Patient with Osa After Tonsillectomy
To assess the selection of patients who are candidates for tonsillectomy and to manage their hospital stay based on the history of obstrucitive sleep apnea (OSA) and risk factors for postoperative complications.MATERIAL AND METHODS: Descriptive cross-sectional study in 56 patients undergoing tonsillectomy during the year 2014. We exclude patients older than 14 years. The variables included were: age, sex, weight, ASA, OSA yes/ no, OSA degree, previous polysomnography, risk factors for complications, place of entry postintervention, postoperative complications during the first 24 hours and where they took place.
