Unfolding Perceptual Continua
The book analyses the differences between the mathematical interpretation and the phenomenological intuition of the continuum. The basic idea is that the continuity of the experience of space and time originates in phenomenic movement. The problem of consciousness and of the spaces of representation is related to the primary processes of perception. Conceived as an interplay between cognitive science, linguistics and philosophy, the book presents a conceptual framework based on a dynamic and experimental approach to the problem of the continuum. Besides presenting the primitives of a theory of cognitive space and time, it presents a theory of the observer, analyzing the relationship among perspective, points of view and unity of consciousness. The book's chapters deal with the dynamic elaboration and recognition of forms from the lower to the higher processes in the various perceptual fields. En-attività della relazione educativa e costruzione del sé
Il lavoro si connota come ricerca teoretica ed empirico-qualitativa con l’obiettivo di giungere a un’analisi concettuale di carattere generale, nell’intento di poter riattribuire alla relazione educativa l’originaria capacità di elevarsi a funzione enattiva dei processi formativi per la più autentica manifestazione del sé. Vengono richiamati i principali concetti esplicativi del paradigma enattivo e del modello dell’integrale antropologico elaborato da Margiotta, problematizzando il processo intersoggettivo della relazione educativa in quanto propulsore dei percorsi di maturazione e di formazione dell’uomo, individuando nella riflessività il dispositivo principe capace di produrre enazione. Infine, assodato che l’enattivismo – e le inerenti teorie sull’embodied cognition – a differenza di altri approcci, è in grado di fornire un principio di definizione del corpo come “sistema autopoietico e di auto-individuazione”, lo stesso viene avanzato per spiegare il processo di acquisizione delle abilità sportive e di controllo del movimento umano.
