John Biggs (1831-1924), son of Joseph and Mary Sherwood Biggs, was was born at Kimpton, Hertshire, England. He married 1) Ellen Ann Whitemore (1826-1907), daughter of Thomas and Hannah Whitemore, in 1851 at New Mill End, Hertshire, England. He Joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and immigrated to Utah in 1861. Ellen Ann Biggs stayed in England with two young sons. He married 2) Martha Lovina Henson in 1861 in the Endowment House in Salt Lake City; 3) Jane Theodora Wright (1852-1931), daughter of (1852-1931), daughter of George and Deborah Ann Hasley Wright, in 1869 at Salt Lake City; and 4) Jane Ramsbottom (1854-1919), daughter of Henry and Martha Whitehead Ramsbottom, in 1870 in Salt Lake City. John Biggs died at Franklin, Franklin County, Idaho.
