Narración infantil y discurso
Es evidente que, en España, y a la luz de la bibliografía existente sobre el tema, los estudios exclusivamente lingüísticos del cuento infantil son muy recientes y todavía escasos. En este libro, que quiere ser una aportación a ese campo de estudio y análisis todavía poco cultivado, se determinan las características de género y registro de las narraciones infantiles y, tras adoptar una postura definida entre los controvertidos conceptos de tema y tópico, se realiza un estudio constrastivo de la progresión temática y de la jerarquización tópica de un total de ocho cuentos populares escritos en lengua inglesa y en lengua castellana.
