Das Wuppertaler Beuys-Performancefestival befasste sich ausgehend von der Aktionskunst Joseph Beuys' mit Formen zeitgenössischer Performance-Kunst. Durch die Covid-19-bedingte Transformation des Festivals in den digitalen Raum wurde es zudem selbst zum Impulsgeber: Die digitalen Formate führten nicht nur zu einer Veränderung von Zeitlichkeit und Wahrnehmungssituation, sondern rückten auch neue künstlerische Produktions- und Präsentationsweisen sowie die Verschränkung von Stadtgesellschaft und Performance-Kunst in den Blick. Die BeiträgerInnen führen die verschiedenen Stränge des Festivals zusammen, greifen Diskussionen und Impulse auf und fügen dem Festival so eine weitere diskursive Ebene hinzu.

[EXP]OSITION - Die Ausstellung als Existenzweise
Was zeichnet eine (Kunst-)Ausstellung aus? Und was kann es heißen, wenn wir diese nicht nur als eine ›institutionelle Ansammlung von Dingen‹ begreifen, sondern die Ausstellung ›ökologisch‹ verstehen - d.h. ihre ganz spezifischen Milieus, Praktiken und situativen Konfigurationen in den Fokus rücken? Svetlana Chernyshova nimmt eine ontologische Verschiebung vor, indem sie die Ausstellung als eine Existenzweise - [EXP]osition - herausstellt und diese als ein Resultat von vielfältigen ›Metastabilisierungen‹ begreift. Auf der Grundlage von acht Parametern entsteht so ein Modell, welches das komplex-synthetische Phänomen Ausstellung systematisch in seinen Ebenen verhandelbar macht. Dabei rücken neben deren ästhetischen und epistemologischen Bedingungen auch die politischen Implikationen ins Blickfeld und zeigen: Ausstellungen lassen sich diffraktiv denken.

Dopamine and Glutamate in Psychiatric Disorders
An illuminating summary of our current understanding of the interactive role of dopamine and glutamate in psychiatric diseases and the therapeutic strategies and possibilities for future treatment. Among the new ideas presented are hypotheses on the role of dopamine and glutamate in aggression, the glutamate system in anxiety disorders, glutamate and neurodegeneration, and on the origin and progression of Parkinson's disease. Additional chapters offer novel insights into a variety of psychiatric diseases, including ADHD, stress, aggression, addiction, schizophrenia, depression, social phobias, dementias, bulimia, and neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases. Each chapter summarizes the prevalence and symptoms of the disease and explains the involvement of dopamine and/or glutamate systems using the newer molecular approaches such as transgenic knockout or knockin mice and recent brain imaging techniques.
