Mit den in Österreich als Vollerhebungen durchgeführten Bildungsstandard- überprüfungen werden in periodischen Abständen Kompetenzen gemessen, welche österreichische Schüler/innen in der Regel am Ende eines Schulabschnitts (d. h. am Ende der vierten und der achten Schulstufe) beherrschen sollten.
