Karenanya, keterlibatan pribadi secara mendalam untuk masuk dalam situasi dari orang-orang yang ada di sekitar kita sangat diharapkan. Berbagai lingkungan dan situasi masyarakat sering kali jauh berbeda dengan yang menjadi keseharian kita. Namun, situasi yang kadang sulit bagi kita tersebut terkadang memunculkan ungkapan seperti “Saya telah dianugerahi keluarga baru.” Penemuan nilai-nilai kehidupan yang menjadi keutamaan-keutamaan Vinsensian ini kemudian direfleksikan dengan kisah deskriptif inspiratif ataupun puisi inspiratif dalam buku ini. Semoga dengan refleksi dan pengalaman bersentuhan dengan yang lemah dan terpinggirkan, dapat mengajak kita untuk belajar lebih bersyukur, meningkatkan kualitas hidup, serta menjadi orang yang bermanfaat bagi sesama dan alam semesta. Juga, semoga niat-niat baik kita dalam meningatkan spiritulitas kita diberkati Tuhan.
