In Italien verschwinden immer wieder junge Menschen, die am Rande einer sozial ausgegrenzten Unterschicht leben. Sie werden nach Serbien verschleppt und dort in einem alten Armeebunker aus dem Jugoslawienkrieg grausam gefoltert und anschließend umgebracht. Neben dem sexuellen Hintergrund der jeweiligen Tat stellt es sich heraus, dass der Vatikan in die Sache verwickelt ist. Anscheinend wollen gewisse Kräfte der katholischen Kirche eine Säuberung des Landes von unerwünschten Personen, welche nicht den Gott der etablierten Konfessionen heiligen. Fast könnte man Parallelen zur Inquisition des Mittelalters ziehen. Aber auch im evangelischen Glauben offenbart sich ein Drama. Hexen sind eben nicht konfessionstreu – oder gibt es sie gar nicht?
