Nanopartikel Jahe Merah Sebagai Inovasi Peningkat Nitrit Oksida dan Penurun Tekanan Darah Ibu Hipertensi Postpartum
Nitric Oxide merupakan senyawa kimiaayang penting untuk transportasi sinyal listrik dalam sel. Senyawa ini diproduksi oleh sel-sel endotel dan berperan dalam vasodilatasi yang kuat untuk pembuluh darah sehingga dapat menurunkan hipertensi termasuk hipertensi postpartum. Ibu nifas dapat dikatakan mengalami hipertensi postpartum apabila mengalami peningkatan tekanan darah sebesar ≥140/90 mmHg dengan atau tanpa proteinuria atau edema saat postpartum. Berbagai upaya yang digunakan untuk menurunkan tekanan darah harus diperhatikan kembali. Nanopartikel jahe merah dengan dosis 300 mg/hr yang mengandung flavonoid terbukti berhasil sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kadar nitrit oksida dan menurunkan tekanan darah. Keberhasilan tersebut sudah jelas akibat kandungan yang luar biasa dari rimpang jahe merah.
