Atenção psicossocial em saúde mental: temas para (trans)formação
Este livro, fruto do encontro de profissionais da Psicologia, da Terapia Ocupacional e da Geografia, visa a contribuir no debate qualificado e comprometido com a defesa e o aprimoramento da Atenção Psicossocial em Saúde Mental no Brasil. A autora organizadora e os autores convidados, envolvidos em diferentes práticas de pesquisa e de educação permanente de trabalhadores sociais, apresentam uma reflexão crítica de conceitos presentes em diretrizes normativas e no agir em saúde mental. Esta publicação é um convite para o debate e a produção permanentes de novas formas de cuidado em saúde mental em liberdade.
Boas práticas
Em Trieste há um fluxo anual de aproximadamente de mil pessoas, vindas de diversas partes do mundo. Profissionais, estudantes e pesquisadores, que participam de visitas, estágios, bem como intercâmbio em pesquisa, buscando no modelo triestino, respostas inovadoras em termos de terapias e sistemas de atendimento. Estes protagonistas da saúde mental produziram um crescente apelo para suas formações dentro de uma proposta desinstitucionalização. Como uma resposta a esta necessidade de formação científica, o Departamento de Saúde Mental de Trieste em parceria com a OMS, organizou a escola Franca e Franco Basaglia, visando ampliar debates e ações na melhoria da assistência psiquiátrica, criando condições para que os protagonistas da saúde mental transformem o seu paradigma. Nesta perspectiva realizamos o I Congresso Internacional Franca e Franco Basaglia em 2014.
The Atlantic Forest
The Atlantic Forest is one of the 36 hotspots for biodiversity conservation worldwide. It is a unique, large biome (more than 3000 km in latitude; 2500 in longitude), marked by high biodiversity, high degree of endemic species and, at the same time, extremely threatened. Approximately 70% of the Brazilian population lives in the area of this biome, which makes the conflict between biodiversity conservation and the sustainability of the human population a relevant issue. This book aims to cover: 1) the historical characterization and geographic variation of the biome; 2) the distribution of the diversity of some relevant taxa; 3) the main threats to biodiversity, and 4) possible opportunities to ensure the biodiversity conservation, and the economic and social sustainability. Also, it is hoped that this book can be useful for those involved in the development of public policies aimed at the conservation of this important global biome.

Reforma trabalhista: para além do discurso de liberdade, a alienação e precarização das relações de trabalho no Brasil
A Lei n.o 13.467/2017 (Brasil, 2017), denominada "Reforma Trabalhista", é resultado de um processo pautado em modificações sociais, políticas e econômicas, que influenciaram diretamente o cotidiano das relações de trabalho em decorrência de diversas mudanças ocorridas no contexto de trabalho, nas condições laborais, no uso de novas tecnologias, bem como em novas possibilidades de contratos de trabalho, que resultaram na criação de um novo conjunto de dispositivos normativos, com novas regras e orientações, que ainda estão sendo absorvidas pela sociedade brasileira, visto que a mudança normativa e seus efeitos vão sendo notados gradualmente. O trabalho é um elemento de conexão entre o indivíduo e a organização e pode apresentar uma carga psíquica positiva ou negativa para o trabalhador. Se, por um lado, pode ser dada abertura necessária ao desenvolvimento do indivíduo, do grupo e do resultado do trabalho, incentivando a criatividade, a experimentação e a inovação; por outro lado, pode ocorrer o cerceamento por meio do reforço no controle e na legitimação de modelos de trabalho.
