Ensino Profissional de Jovens: Um Percurso Escolar Diferente para a (Re)Construção de Projectos de Vida
Este artigo insere-se na temática do ensino profissional inicial e pretende analisar os motivos e os condicionalismos presentes nas opções dos jovens por esta via de formação. O estudo incidiu sobre duas modalidades de ensino profissional: o sistema aprendizagem e as escolas profissionais. levaram a optar pelo ensino profissional, destaca-se a preocupação em obter uma qualificação que facilite a sua inserção no mercado de trabalho, aliando uma formação qualificada a uma experiência concreta de trabalho através do estágio. A satisfação demonstrada pelos jovens pareceu estar relacionada com o sucesso obtido, com a aquisição de conhecimentos necessários para o desempenho da profissão e com a experiência adquirida, permitindo a alguns alunos uma reconciliação com a escola e a (re)construção de projectos de vida.
