No es una tarea sencilla pensar los oficios del lazo y las instituciones que tienen a su cargo educar, cuidar, invitar a compartir el mundo y construir lo común. Este libro busca transmitir las experiencias y los intentos de volver pensable lo sabido no siempre pensado. Articula casos y conceptos, haceres, quehaceres para pensar las instituciones, aprehender algo acerca de las complejas prácticas de educadores, trabajadores sociales, equipos de salud, colaboradores de instancias judiciales, ejercidas muchas veces en condiciones adversas. Propone un acompañamiento, ofrece una caja de herramientas, da a pensar sobre lo que significa un "caso", dialoga con los oficiantes, asociando, sugiriendo, compartiendo posiciones filosóficas, investigaciones, nuevos recorridos por antiguos sedimentos. El psicoanálisis, la literatura, el cine, la sociología componen una conversación explorando territorios, brindando hipótesis, sin perder de vista las experiencias, ni descuidar la particular intensidad de estos oficios "imposibles", difícil e imposible es no disponerse a "hacer mundo" para quienes los ejercen en estos tiempos que corren.
