This book is my life’s story and every occurrence mentioned here is my own. It’s an account of how one incident changed my life forever. On January 6th, 2019 – I lost my son, Raghav under the most tragic circumstances. It was sudden, cruel and I was completely blind-sided. The days that followed were nightmarish and traumatic. My mind often wondered where my son was and how I was even breathing without him. During this period, I was introduced to Avatar Meher Baba’s love and began my spiritual journey with the help of my mentor Nan Umrigar. A sudden realization hit me - we are living in a world that is an illusion and life extends beyond this body; the soul is eternal. There exists a sphere beyond our world which is boundless and beautiful. A place where souls reside which is the real world, the spirit world, and it is within our reach if we try. Our loved ones never really leave us. They are out there to help and guide us. There are ways to reach them. This book is about how Avatar Meher Baba, my spiritual master healed me and returned my loving son Raghav in his special way. I am forever holding on to His ‘Daaman’ with love and obedience. I surrender to his grace.
Change is no where more urgently needed than in the so called developing countries. In the Constituent Assembly charged with the drafting of a constitution for free India, Jawaharlal Nehru expressed the sentiment very eloquently. Referring to Gandhi he said, "The ambition of the greatest man of our generation has been to wipe every tear from every eye. That may be beyond us, but as long as there are tears and suffering, so long our work will not be over." To bring about speedy socio-economic changes has been the ideal of all the newly independent Afro-Asian nations. After the Second World War, the new nations emerged out of the dark experience of imperial exploitation and embarked upon a complex process of social reconstruction.
As society has become increasingly concerned with the protection and preservation of the environment, many industries have been pushed to comply with new policies and social demands for more environmentally-friendly and sustainable practices and products. However, the textile dyeing industry remains a significant source of complex environmental issues with legislative requirements that often vary in detail and severity concerning the exposure and hazards of potentially harmful chemicals and other associated materials. It is vital that the industry sector involved in the application of dyes continues to be sensitive to potential adverse effects on the environment in its widest sense and respo...
