La evolución de la actividad traductora y los grandes cambios tecnológicos de los que está siendo partícipe la sociedad actual han traído consigo la aparición de nuevas tipologías textuales y modalidades de traducción en ámbitos especializados. De este contexto surge la propuesta de poner de manifiesto cómo se están abordando esos desafíos desde diferentes vertientes de las lenguas de especialidad y así ofrecer un breve panorama sobre esta cuestión.
