O amor em uma Nova Veneza
Vizinhos de tempo e espaço. Talvez, por estarmos distraídos, não percebemos o quanto a vida é cheia de nuances que beiram a magia. Um desses detalhes que normalmente nos passam despercebidos é a incrível e quase divina coincidência que faz com que as pessoas se tornem vizinhos de tempo e espaço. Um exemplo é o encontro do casal Oswaldo Stival e dona Edith, ambos descendentes de diferentes famílias italianas que migraram para o Brasil no século XIX. Se a família Stival tivesse vindo "fazer a América", e a família Spessoto (Peixoto) tivesse permanecido na Itália, o encontro entre o casal que descobriu o amor quase um século depois que seus descendentes chegaram por aqui, não teria acontecido. Se Oswaldo Stival e dona Edith tivessem nascidos em épocas diferentes, o desencontro seria certo, ou seja, essa vizinhança de tempo e espaço (pois ambos nasceram na mesma época e na mesma cidade) permitiu que se conhecessem, convivessem e se apaixonassem. A incrível e quase divina coincidência que os aproximou é a mesma que dá ao leitor a oportunidade de se emocionar com uma linda história de vida e de amor. Alberto Araújo
