As the outcome of the tenth international congress (Current Debates in Social Sciences), the papers in this volume cover a wide range of topics related to the main theme of the conference, titled “Current Debates in Social Sciences”, and basically focus on economics, finance and econometrics. Even though most of the papers deal with the empirical analysis on economics and finance, there are also studies on econometrics analysis. In this context, the articles in the book draw attention to the different aspects of economics, finance and econometrics such as game theory, Fin- Tech, financial deepening, financial literacy, debt level of credit card of younger generation and case studies, the relationship between Turkey technology index and other World technology index, carbon emission rate and economic growth, the effects of capital inflows on economic growth, work engagement, loneliness at work and stress, measure and compare the performance of Type-A mutual funds in Turkey. We believe that these studies would contribute to the development of debates in social sciences and encourage interdisciplinary approaches.
Landscapes and Landforms of Turkey
This book on Turkish geomorphology offers location descriptions, based on their dynamics and evolution processes, including hydrology, tectonics, volcanism, slopes, coasts, ice/snow, and wind. It presents landforms as a result of evolution (Quaternary, Holocene, historic) and in relation to the elements determining and/or impacting this evolution (vegetation, soil, hydrology, geology, climate, sea level and human action) as well as the resulting landscapes. Richly illustrated with pictures from each site, including geomorphological maps and sections, it explains the risks associated with the geomorphological dynamics (on local and global scales), natural and/or cultural heritage (archaeology, prehistory, history, architectural specifications adapted to the landscape), as well as challenges for human society (endangered landscape, protection/conservation rules/statutes, posters/paintings.).

Behcet's Disease
Behcet's disease is a multisystem inflammatory disease with unknown etiology and has a unique geographic distribution. It is characterized by recurrent oral aphthous lesions, recurrent uveitis, skin lesions, and genital ulcerations. However, it may involve the eye, joints, and cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, and neurological systems at varying degrees as well as the skin and mucous membranes. The disease may manifest itself in a wide spectrum of symptoms ranging from mild symptoms to life-threatening symptoms or severe symptoms that may create permanent sequelae. Knowing the nature of the disease will make it easier to diagnose and manage the disease. This book was written by expert authors, and detailed epidemiology, etiopathogenesis, mucocutaneous findings, and systemic involvement of Behcet's disease are presented to readers.

Selected historical and recent earthquakes are chosen to document and constrain related seismic parameters using updated methodologies in the macroseismic analysis, field observations of damage distribution and tectonic effects, and modelling of seismic waveforms.
