A temática resíduos sólidos tem se tornado cada vez mais necessária e objeto de pesquisa com diferentes enfoques, tendo em vista que as soluções para sua gestão adequada perpassam por elementos técnicos, ambientais, sociais, comportamentais e econômicos. A Obra, Resíduos Sólidos: Um olhar plural sobre gestão, valorização e pesquisa, é uma coletânea de artigos produzidos, na sua maioria, por professores, alunos e servidores do Instituto Federal do Espírito Santo – Ifes, e também por professores e pesquisadores convidados da Universidade Federais do Espírito Santo e de Minas Gerais (Ufes e UFMG), da Fundação Ezequiel Dias (Funed – MG) e Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais (CEFET – MG), da Universidade de São Paulo (USP) e Centro Universitário Faesa, cujos trabalhos se alinham e contribuem para a geração de conhecimento sobre os resíduos sólidos no Brasil, em especial no Espírito Santo.

Dr. Morris's monograph presents an examination of the constraints placed upon ethical theory by certain aspects of contemporary psychological theory, specifically behaviorism. These constraints were outlined in many of the writings of John Dewey. The present text culls and organizes Dewey's thoughts regarding this issue.
