The present work deals not only with the well-organized right extremism in modern Europe as well as with its function in proper political parties, but equally includes two additional, broader approaches: the militant branches and subcultures that exist, including some paramilitary phenomena in Eastern Europe; and the broad realm of their political ideas and cultural trends and the influence they exert on European political culture.
Working Group on Marine Mammal Ecology (WGMME)
The Working Group on Marine Mammal Ecology met in 2022 to address five terms of reference. Under the first of these, ToR A, new information on cetacean and seal population abundance, distribution, population/stock structure, was reviewed, including information on vagrant ma-rine mammal species. This was done to ensure the recording of possible range changes in marine mammal species in the future. The Roads of the Roma
This is an international anthology of English translations of Roma poetry and prose. The writings in this text reflect the 30 contributors shared experiences of prejudice, discrimination and persecution, as well as joy in nature and life. The lives of the contributors are told in brief biographical notes reflecting the many roads followed by the Roma in coming to terms with modern society.
Seal Abundance and Distribution
Grey seal abundance is largely increasing across the assessed area. Within Arctic Waters, both Icelandic grey seals and harbour seals are declining. Harbour seals abundance trends are mixed within the Greater North Sea. Southern Celtic Seas data were limited, but trends are generally increasing. Distribution appears generally stable for both species.
