No limiar de completar 100 anos do nascimento do filósofo e educador Paulo Reglus Neves Freire (1921-1997), tem uma vasta bibliografia com reflexões direcionadas ao campo educacional brasileiro. A editora Bagai apresenta aos seus leitores em comemoração do seu centenário a obra “100 ANOS DE PAULO FREIRE: A PEDAGOGIA FREIREANA NO ENSINO-APRENDIZAGEM DA EDUCAÇÃO BRASILEIRA”, dedicada em apresentar produções científicas de pesquisadores de importantes universidades privadas e públicas do Brasil, estes propuseram em seus escritos evidenciar às contribuições teóricas da pedagogia freireana direcionadas ao processo de ensino e aprendizagem para educação brasileira em todos os níveis e modalidades de ensino. Os textos tiveram como ponto de convergência a proposta de uma educação contra-hegemônica, libertadora, emancipadora, crítica, reflexiva e dialógica, vislumbrando assim a emancipação intelectual de todos alunos.
