Tradition und Redaktion im Matthäusevangelium
Obwohl in den letzten zwei Jahrzehnten sowohl die Theologie des Matthäusevangeliums als auch dessen Verhältnis zu seinen Quellen, dem Markusevangelium und der Logienquelle, verstärkt Gegenstand wissenschaftlicher Diskussion waren, fehlt bisher eine Untersuchung, welche die matthäische Redaktionspraxis umfassend in den Blick nimmt. Heiko Wojtkowiaks Studie füllt dieses Desiderat, indem sie umfänglich die formalen und inhaltlichen Redaktionscharakteristika des Evangelisten Matthäus darlegt. Hierzu erfolgt eine Untersuchung von dessen redaktionellen Umgang mit dem Markusevangelium und den in der Regel der Logienquelle zugewiesenen Texten. Dabei werden zwei weitergehende Fragen besonders berücksichtigt: 1) Lässt sich eine besondere Nähe zu einer dieser beiden Quellen nachweisen? 2) Erscheint eine direkte Abhängigkeit vom Lukasevangelium (ergänzend oder alternativ zur Annahme einer Abhängigkeit von der Logienquelle) plausibel? Die Studie bietet hiermit eine Grundlage sowohl für die weitere Untersuchung der matthäischen Theologie als auch für die in der Forschung neu auflebende Diskussion um die synoptische Frage.

Heiko Wojtkowiak beschäftigt sich mit der Verknüpfung von Christologie und Ethik im Brief des Paulus an die Gemeinde in der römischen Kolonie Philippi. The Lord’s Prayer in the Ghanaian Context
This study explores the reception history of the Lord's Prayer in the Ghanaian context. After presenting the current state of research in the Lord's Prayer from an exegetical perspective, this book discusses a wide field of hermeneutical approaches, such as inculturation biblical hermeneutics, mother-tongue biblical hermeneutics, African feminist biblical hermeneutics, liberation biblical hermeneutics and post-colonial biblical hermeneutics. Taking the discussions of these approaches together, it was realised that the general hermeneutical setting in Ghana (and Africa as whole) is reader-centred, i.e. the readers play an active role in the hermeneutical process and the results of the hermeneutical process are aimed at the readers’ contexts and the transformation of those contexts.

Published on the occasion of the 250th birthday of the Theology Stift of the University of Göttingen, this volume retells the history of one of the University ́s oldest institutions. It includes portraits of famous benefactors and essays on the most important dimensions of life at the Stift. The importance of this premier theological institute of education becomes clear to the reader. Now 250 years old, the Theology Stift of the Georg August University of Göttingen belongs to the oldest institutions this university has. It was founded in 1765 and since that time has served especially as a place for educating young theologians. Many of its “inspectors” later became pioneers in the field. This volume reports the life and works of many of the most famous benefactors, from Bernhard Duhm to Julius Wellhausen, from Hans von Campenhausen to Emanuel Hirsch and Rudolf Otto to Theodor Zahn. Die Theologie Martin Luthers wurde eine inspirierende Basis für die östliche Peripherie der deutschen Reformation im Gebiet der heutigen Slowakei. So rief die wittenbergische Reformation eine spezifische Entwicklung der religiös-politischen Ereignisse in Oberungarn hervor. Der sich enorm verbreitende Protestantismus wurde seitens der habsburgischen Rekatholisierung jedoch systematisch unterdrückt. Die einzelnen Beiträge reflektieren nicht nur die Reformationsgeschichte in Oberungarn, sondern sie beschäftigen sich auch mit der wittenbergischen Hermeneutik, philosophischen Theologie und mit der durch die Reformation geprägten Pädagogik.
