On behalf of the Program Committee, a very warm welcome to the Seventh Italian Conference on Computational Linguistics (CLiC-it 2020). This edition of the conference is held in Bologna and organised by the University of Bologna. The CLiC-it conference series is an initiative of the Italian Association for Computational Linguistics (AILC) which, after six years of activity, has clearly established itself as the premier national forum for research and development in the fields of Computational Linguistics and Natural Language Processing, where leading researchers and practitioners from academia and industry meet to share their research results, experiences, and challenges.
Semantic Web Evaluation Challenges
This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post conference proceedings of the second edition of the Semantic Web Evaluation Challenge, SemWebEval 2015, co-located with the 12th European Semantic Web conference, held in Portorož, Slovenia, in May/June 2015. This book includes the descriptions of all methods and tools that competed at SemWebEval 2015, together with a detailed description of the tasks, evaluation procedures and datasets. The contributions are grouped in the areas: open knowledge extraction challenge (OKE 2015); semantic publishing challenge (SemPub 2015); schema-agnostic queries over large-schema databases challenge (SAQ 2015); concept-level sentiment analysis challenge (CLSA 2015).
Proceedings of the 9th Italian Conference on Computational Linguistics CLiC-it 2023
The ninth edition of the Italian Conference on Computational Linguistics (CLiC-it 2023) was held from 30th November to 2nd December 2023 at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, in the beautiful venue of the Auditorium Santa Margherita - Emanuele Severino. After the edition of 2020, which was organized in fully virtual mode due to the health emergency related to Covid-19, and CLiC-it 2021, which was held in hybrid mode, with CLiC-it 2023 we are back to a fully in-presence conference. Overall, almost 210 participants registered to the conference, confirming that the community is eager to meet in person and to enjoy both the scientific and social events together with the colleagues.

The Semantic Web. Latest Advances and New Domains
The 47 revised full papers presented together with three invited talks were carefully reviewed and selected from 204 submissions. This program was completed by a demonstration and poster session, in which researchers had the chance to present their latest results and advances in the form of live demos. In addition, the PhD Symposium program included 10 contributions, selected out of 21 submissions. The core tracks of the research conference were complemented with new tracks focusing on linked data; machine learning; mobile web, sensors and semantic streams; natural language processing and information retrieval; reasoning; semantic data management, big data, and scalability; services, APIs, processes and cloud computing; smart cities, urban and geospatial data; trust and privacy; and vocabularies, schemas, and ontologies.
