Ecology and Conservation of Mountaintop grasslands in Brazil
This book is a pioneer attempt to bring forward the first synthesis on the most diverse and threatened mountain top vegetation of South America, the rupestrian grasslands. It brings to light the state of the art information on this ecosystem geology, soil formation and distribution, environmental filters that lead to biodiversity, species interactions and their fine tuned adaptations to survive the harsh mountain environment. The human dimensions of the rupestrian grassland are also addressed, including the anthropogenic threats that may irreversibly impact biodiversity and ecosystem services. The book also highlights the ongoing studies on ecological restoration and first attempt to model the impacts of climate change on its speciose biota.

Constitution and Production of Mathematics in the Cyberspace
This book brings together various studies that assume phenomenology to analyze how mathematics education is affected by the experience of being in the cyberspace. The authors of the chapters included in this contributed volume work with the theoretical framework developed by authors such as Edmund Husserl, Martin Heidegger and Maurice Merleau-Ponty to investigate how mathematics is produced and comprehended in a new way of being in the world, with digital technologies. The aim of this book is not to explain the tools used and how one works with them in the cyberspace, aiming at better teaching and learning mathematics. Its purpose is to present philosophical investigations that contribute to the understanding of the complexity of the world in which we are being researchers and mathematics teachers. Consagrado no Gramado traz informações sobre todos os jogos do Flamengo, desde que o clube aderiu ao futebol, no fim de 1911, até 2021. A investigação esclarece definitivamente os 110 anos de vida dessa história, com as referências de cada partida, incluindo as escalações detalhadas dos adversários e os seus treinadores. O trabalho consumiu dois anos e chegou ao limite. Foram consultados impressos, com prioridade para jornais e revistas oferecidos pela Biblioteca Nacional, além de sites e livros expostos na internet, e os teipes parciais ou completos de mais de três centenas de partidas. A coleção de livros do autor também teve grande importância. Houve ainda frequentes consultas, por e-mail e telefone, no Brasil e no exterior, aos que poderiam fornecer indicações e esclarecimentos. Há ainda um texto de apoio para cada década e a relação completa de todos os jogadores que vestiram a camisa rubro-negra pelo menos uma vez, com a identificação de praticamente todos eles, para que não reste alguma desconfiança sobre as suas existências. De agora em diante ninguém terá mais dúvida sobre o futebol do Flamengo.
