Esta relação vida profissional, luta política e estudo, dão a este trabalho um sentido singular e resultante de um processo que é individual e coletivo, não só por sua atuação no grupo de pesquisa THESE - Projetos Integrados de Pesquisa em Trabalho, História, Educação e Saúde, mas pelo diálogo que estabelece com a produção que discute as políticas educacionais, mormente, a partir de 1990. O estudo e o trabalho trouxe a autora o eixo de sua análise, ou seja, as mediações e contradições presentes nas políticas educacionais contemporâneas. Ali se move a dialética da realidade, na qual não é X ou Y, mas X e Y, vale dizer, dominação, autoritarismo, desmonte, regressão, mas concomitantemente luta, resistência, pequenas, mas importantes conquistas. Perspectivas para a educação em Ciências e Matemática
O Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisa em Educação e Ensino de Ciências e Matemática (Nepecim) do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Goiás (IFG) foi criado no Câmpus Jataí em 2010 com o objetivo principal de desenvolver pesquisas e estudos relacionados à educação científica e Matemática. Desde a sua criação, tem sido um importante espaço na instituição para o desenvolvimento de estudos e debates sobre referenciais teórica. No final do ano de 2020, a Pró-reitoria de Pesquisa e Pós-Graduação do IFG convidava líderes dos grupos de pesquisa do IFG a apresentarem propostas de planos de trabalho para obtenção de apoio financeiro. Diante disso, os membros do Nepecim vislumbraram a oportunidade ímpar de sistematizar e divulgar a produção desenvolvida pelos pesquisadores do grupo e pelos demais docentes, discentes e egressos do curso de Mestrado Profissional em Educação para Ciências e Matemática do Câmpus Jataí.
