Inicialmente chamamos a atenção para o título deste livro que ora vem a público. Isso porque Diferentes olhares sobre a i nclusão foi uma escolha assertiva de seus organizadores, pois, de saída, provoca o leitor a considerar um pressuposto que permite apreender e analisar a complexidade, os conflitos e as contradições expressos nas discussões encaminhadas pelos autores dos capítulos ao tratarem do tema: inclusão no contexto escolar e/ou fora dele. Ou seja, o pressuposto de que diferentes olhares implicam diferentes processos inclusivos e, portanto, não existe, necessariamente, consenso ou unidade em relação a concepções, práticas e políticas que vêm sendo implementadas em nome da denominada inclusão.
