Entre o arroubo e a esquiva
Este estudo se dedica a investigar a "escrita de si" de Caio Fernando Abreu, tendo como objeto de pesquisa a coletânea Cartas - seleção de correspondências redigidas pelo escritor publicada pela editora Aeroplano, em 2002. Tais cartas são, então, tomadas como lugar de memória do autor, numa leitura que se propõe, a partir do movimento de lembranças e apontamentos, do narrar do prosador acerca das suas histórias pessoais e dos acontecimentos que se fixaram em sua existência, identificar como a subjetividade do escritor é construída, por que caminhos se guia, com base em que produções discursivas fertiliza seu fazer literário e amparado em que experiências conduz seu viver, administra dramas e conflitos íntimos, gerencia amizades e alimenta influências no tempo vivido. Além disso, prevê contribuir para redimensionar o repertório das reflexões já tecidas por pesquisadores de diferentes campos do conhecimento acerca das "narrativas de si" e da "carta enquanto lugar de memória"--Reduto de subjetividades, fonte documental que mapeia, de certo modo, aquele que a redige e seu círculo social, por meio de pistas e indiciamentos ofertados pelo missivista.

Enquanto pesquisadores, professores e estudantes não podemos agir como meros espectadores que apenas habitam o espaço da escola. Tal postura faria de nós apenas reprodutores de práticas historicamente enraizadas e naturalizadas no e pelo cotidiano escolar. No lugar disso, assumimos a postura de inquiridores da escola, porém não no sentido de julgadores do que se passa e do que se faz na escola.
